Powder Coating vs. Painting — What’s the difference?
Powder coating is a dry finishing process that uses electrostatically charged powder cured under heat to create a durable, uniform finish. Unlike paint, powder coating is more resistant to chipping, scratching, fading, and wear—making it ideal for both industrial and decorative applications.
How long does it take?
Our standard turnaround is 2–4 days, with same-day service available for urgent projects. The exact time depends on the size, complexity, and current workload.
What’s included in pricing?
Pricing covers surface preparation (sandblasting or chemical stripping), powder material, application, curing, and basic quality inspection. Specialized coatings or large-scale work may require a custom quote.
Do you offer pickup/drop-off?
We do not currently offer in-house pickup or delivery services, but we can recommend trusted local transport providers if needed.
How durable is powder coating?
Powder coating offers superior resistance to chips, scratches, UV rays, and corrosion. In many cases, it outperforms paint by several years, even in harsh environments.
Can you match a custom color?
Yes. We work with top brands like Tiger Drylac, Spectrum, Prismatic, and DuPont, offering a huge selection of colors, textures, and finishes. Bring us a sample or color code, and we’ll get as close as possible.
